day 2- london/1st night in amsterdam!

We woke up early in the morning from our hostel room with 8 other people, then dropped off our bags in the luggage room and went to go see the British Museum before we left for amsterdam. The museum was really neat- it was divided up into geographical areas so you could see artifacts drom everywhere, from all kinds of time periods- really an impressive collection, they even had a room devoted soley to clocks! We saw the Rosetta Stone, which was impressive- and something I thought was really cool is that we saw several replicas of things we had already seen on our central american travels! needless to say, i felt somewhat snooty. After that we got to the airport schlepping our huge backpacks on the Tube, rushed through check in and security only to have our flight leave almost 2 hours late!!! Once we got here, it was even colder, to where you cant really feel your legs when you are outside! We walked around a bit, went to a hilarious( and strangely historical) sex museum, then had a few drinks before going to bed. my internet times up so gotta run!
