Day 7 London/Bristol

Hello all,
So last night [being as it was a friday night] we decided we didn't want to be losers and go out in London. Now it gets dark here ae about 4pm so apparently all the Brits start drinking at about the same time. We were walking back to our hostel from the internet cafe at 4:30 and the street and clubs were packed! very bizzare... anyways there was a nice aussie girl names Gabrielle that was in our room and we made friends and went out for a drink at a pub down the street called the Midas Touch. It was nice to relax and have a couple beers and we were still back in our hostel by 10:30.
We woke up early the next morning to catch our train to Bristol. It was only a 2 hour ride, but it seemes like forever because we had the most abnoxious little children screeming and running up and down our car. And they didn't stop once! Finally we got into Bristol, checked into our hostel and walked around the beautiful city. We went to a church called St. Mary Redcliff which was absolutely gorgeous. It is over 600 years old and has people like Sir william Penn burried inside. There was a lot of interesting information about all the history the church went through and lots of pretty stain glass windows. Lucy and I also lit a memorial candle for Matt since it is the one-year anniversary of the accident. From there we just walked around the city a little more and looked at all the beautiful architecture before it got dark at 4. A guy at our hostel gave us some insight at a fun place called The Mall [ thank g-d he wrote it down because weboth swore he said the mau] for dinner and a drink in Clifton Village. He also drew us a map which was completely wrong according to everyone we showed it to and told us to what bus to get on [and the bus driver droped us off in the wrong town]. Needless to say it took us close to 2-hours to find it with the bad directions and the crappy bus driver, but we found it! There apparently was some fraternity christmas party because there were about 30 18-22 year old guys all drinking and dressed up like Santa Claus. It was pretty funny to watch. So I would write more detail about our day, but the computer I am using has metal keys and it hurts to write so until tomorrow!
